Designed for the Etihad Rail Passenger Network, this 400m pedestrian bridge links the existing Metro Station to the new Etihad Rail Station at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
Its inclined structure minimizes solar exposure, reducing energy consumption while providing a shaded, comfortable passage. Integrating the Etihad brand identity, the design harmonizes material and color selection for a cohesive, modern transit experience.

Transforming Ideas into Reality
The design was developed for Etihad Rail as part of the Passenger Rail Network expansion. The bridge will connect the existing Metro Station and the new Etihad Rail Station at the Jumeirah Golf Estates. The 400m long pedestrian bridge spans between the existing road network and connects to the existing plots. The inclined envelope limits solar exposure onto the glass facade limiting energy usage and provides the customers a shaded passage between the stations. The concept incorporates the Etihad brand ID in its material and colour selection.
